Appearance[]

Uchimiya has shaggy light colored hair and round eyes.

Personality[]

Uchimiya has a friendly and compassionate personality. He is a good person who stands up for his friends, which is noted when Yuri Makita initially thought Toma Kikuchi was a bad guy, but opinion is changed due to Uchimiya protesting otherwise.

Relationships[]

Touma Kikuchi[]

Uchimiya is one of the two friends Touma is always hanging around with. He seems to be a little closer with Touma than Tachibana. Touma invited him to his date with Yoshioka, with Yuri tagging along and Uchimiya was was the one who stood up for Touma when talking to Yuri.

Yuri Makita[]

At first, Yuri didn't like him because she didn't like the fact that he was trying to hook Yoshioka up with Touma, when her friend was clearly still in love with Kou Mabuchi. Yuri and Uchimiya seems to be oddly close and later, Uchimiya and Yuri began dating. After the break up of Yoshioka and Toma, hearing Toma's thoughts on the situations gives Uchimiya the motivation to tell Yuri that no matter what the future holds, he loves her now.

Kiyun Tachibana[]

Tachibana is not really seen a lot in the manga, but he is also friends with Touma and Uchimiya. From shown in the manga, they are close and always seen together.

Etymology[]

  • The name Haruhiko means "clear weather" (晴) (haru) and "boy, prince" (彦) (hiko).
  • Haruhiko's surname Uchimiya means "inside, within" (内) (uchi) and "temple, shrine, palace" (宮) (miya).
